Like many others I got into photography because of travelling. Sometime during my apprenticeship I bought my first SLR and went on a trip to Scandinavia.
First I only took landscape shots, then I photographed more and more different kinds of sports, people and tried black&white. In 2006/07 I attended the GAF (Group of self-taught photographers) in Bern / Fribourg for one year. My pictures got better and occasionally some of them were published.
I love photography. Photography is more than a hobby. It is beside snowboarding my passion and I draw strength and inner peace from it.There are those magic moments that fascinate me. Be it with people, traveling, snowboarding or biking, on the mountain, in nature or in the city. I only photograph what catches my attention, what grabs me and what I find exciting. That's why I'm not doing wedding photography ;-)
